For those who don't know, Amazon Video is a great alternative for those who don't dig paying for a Netflix subscription. Most folks subscribed to Amazon Video use it because it's included in the company's annual Amazon Prime subscription.

On Tuesday, Amazon launched the version 3.3 update to its mobile Amazon Video app for iOS. The update mainly adds support for 3D Touch on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, along with support for the newly released iPad Pro. Fans of 3D Touch shortcuts can now firmly hold the Amazon Video icon on the Home screen to swiftly navigate to: Library, Downloads, Watchlist and Search.

The new update also adds Amazon's X-Ray feature, which matches up movie/tv show info with Amazon-owned IMDB. Apart from that, Amazon added a 'Next Up' feature, which will continue playing a show after an episode ends, similar to Netflix.

Amazon Video can now be downloaded for free with an Amazon Prime subscription in the iTunes App Store.
