Waze 4.3 Adds Planned Drives and Reminders

Social navigation app Waze received an update today. The Google-owned company added Waze Planned Drives, allowing users to schedule drives and receive reminders on when to leave, based on traffic conditions.

The app takes into account road hazards, traffic, weather conditions and more to estimate a proper arrival time. Waze can send notifications alerting users if there were any changes to the suggested departure time.

In addition, Waze now shows the reason for a traffic jam and mutes voice navigation automatically when there is an incoming or outgoing call.

Waze version 4.3 is a free app that can be downloaded in the iTunes App Store.
