should i stay with the apple store warranty or should i use another means of warranty

Depends if you just want protection from manufacture defects.. Or replacement when you drop it in your beer... The first is covered by apple for one year or 2 years if you buy AppleCare. The second is best purchased from squaretrade or bestbuys blacktie protection.
