Home Button Problem - Iphone4

hi, im a newbie, help! bought a second had iphone 4 that was purchased in Canada, home button is not working properly, need to push really hard to get it to work, any suggestions? Its still under warranty (sep11) problem is, i dont have the receipt nor warranty card, i dont personally know the original owner..

Do you have the insurance on your phone? From what I understand through verizon the insurance company just calls the phone to make sure it works, and you have it in your possession. I would not tell your phone carrier about the problem with the home button. Now I have also heard reports that apple is giving new phones to people that have problems with there iPhone 4. I know that more people will clarify the last statement.
