If so can you please explain to me how to do that and what version iOS I should install?

If it's a second hand iPhone and the previous user had jailbreak it and save shsh of any previous version then you might be able to downgrade to a lower iOS. However, your actual iOS is tether jailbreakable which I think you do not wish to have since you will always need a computer to boot it up everytime you turn it off.
4.2.10 isn't Jailbreakable
4.2.10 isn't Jailbreakable
Who said so? 4.2.10 is jailbreakable, if you want I can post YouTube links here for you to follow the steps. But like I mentioned in my previous post, it's only a tether jailbreak. The answer is 4.2.10 is jailbreakable.
