Urgent!!!!! Help required

i sent a text this morning on my iphone4 and a couple of mins later when i looked there was just the apple logo on my screen....tried to reboot but apple logo goes off then comes straight back on and stays on....just arrived home to attempt to do a reboot through itunes but nothing happens....won't even open itunes....please advise

Try a reset. Close all apps then - Hold down the HOME, bottom button, and the SLEEP, top button, for about 10 seconds until the Apple icon appears, then release buttons. Allow it to reboot, it may take a few minutes, don't panic like I did, wait for it to reboot. Cures many weird problems on iOS devices.
