Upgraded to 4 from 3GS, now I can't restore from backup

The problem, I assume, is that the 3GS was running 5.1 & the 4 is on 5.01.
I'm not going to upgrade the 4 until an untethered jailbreak is available.
While I don't have a whole lot of stuff to restore, i'd still like to know if there's a way.

Well I suggest that you do not restore from a backup.

You can keep all contacts and anything toggled on in Settings> iCloud without restoring from a backup. As soon as you choose "Use iCloud" the. Anything toggled on in iCloud in your 3GS will be there.
