up to date iphone 3g jailbreak instructions or link?

Could someone please point me in the right direction? Im trying to help my co worker get directions on jaikbreaking his iphone 3g. I've looked around on here some and checked out redsnow jaikbreak but alot of comments people were having problems in stuff or wouldn't work. So does anyone know of a easy and not too confusion way to jaikbreak it? Thanks alot

A 3G on 4.2.1 can be easily jailbroken using greenpoision...

Green poison dosent list 3G as compatible only 3GS any other suggestions ?

no, greenpoison does not support the 3g. you would have to use redsn0w..

i am in their irc chan a lot and this is a very common question, people try jailbreak their iphone 3g with GP but its not supported. i dont know why they did not include the iphone 3 though.
