unlocking iphone4 with Baseband 10.03

hi,

I bought a new iphone4 with os ver 4.2.1. Its baseband version is 10.03. I did lot of browsing to unlock it. and found no clear information. some say it is possible, some say it is not possible. Please someone help me, because it is lying for around 4 months without any usage.

hello and welcome to the forum!

There is no unlock for that baseband, only for 01.59 baseband BUT there are unlock solutions similar to the turbo sim and also some sites that have perm unlocks for $165 or so but i would advise against using either as the sim will cause problems and the perm unlock solutions have been fixed in 4.3.2 so really it wold be a very expensive unlock for one firmware.

your best shot is to wait for a new unlock for a newer baseband and use it as an ipod touch for now

1. Approximately how long will it take for finding unlock method for a newer baseband like this.
2. In which website can I get the updates regarding new unlock discoveries.
