Text messages

My fiancé has a white iPhone 4 running on 4.2.8. As she is typing a text message and the auto correct corrects a word, the auto correct says the word that us being substituted.

Hopefully, this makes sense.

Is there a way to turn this off? It gets quite annoying.

Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Correction Off

That will just turn the audio part off?

I think you have some sort of accessibility setting turned on.

Settings > General > Accessibility

Have a look around in there...

It sounds like it might be either speak auto text or voiceover... both in accessibility file
