Sync 2 phones on same computer?

Just got a second I phone 3Gs. Can I simply plug it into the same computer I synced our first phone on without causing any confusion within the systems? Or do I need to set up some kind of new separate account in I-tunes before plugging in the second phone?

2 Separates accounts in iTunes or 2 seperates accounts in the computer. That's if you don't want to merge the 2 phones together.
