Some Users Experiencing Error During iOS 9 Update

iPad Air and iPhone 6 updated to iOS 9 OTA just fine. Downloads took about an hour each. Strange thing on iPhone when switching on with TouchID... each time I get a bright white light flash down left hand side of screen just before the icons come in. Didn't happen before upgrade, and doesn't happen when I use passcode instead of TouchID. Anyone else experiencing this?
