Sleep button malfuctioning

My sleep button isn't locking the phone
It's not broken cause it still works to turn off the phone and reboot it but I can't get it to go into sleep
I'm running on 4.3.2 and my phone is jailbroken
Anybody ever experience this?

That's weird. Try hard resetting your phone.

If you have activator installed it might be conflicting with the sleep/wake button.

I changed around a lot of the activator settings and even removed it and nothing

When you removed it did you do a hard reset? If not try it. That might fix the problem.

Solved it, I had advanced preferences installed but I deleted it
Apparently before I deleted it I had set it to prevent sleep mode (on accident)
I guess it kept that setting even though I had deleted the app
