I've created a couple of templates for you graphics artists out there. A home screen template and a lock screen template. I've included Photoshop (.psd) and GIMP (.xcf) versions of both templates in the attached zip files.
Home screen template includes:
* status bar guide
* optional gradient status bar
* icons guide
* screen dots guide
* a layer to add your own background
Lock screen template includes:
* status bar guide
* optional gradient status bar
* upper block guide (time and date area)
* lower block guide (unclock slider and camera icon area)
* a layer to add your own background
How to:
1. Download the attached zip files and unzip them on your computer
2. design your wallpaper in the layer named "background" (add other layers as needed)
3. remove all default layers
4. save the new wallpaper and place it on your phone
5. go to Settings > Wallpaper and set things up
I spent a while getting the gradients (status bar, lock screen, etc.) just right so you can add your own wallpaper and see what it will look like before the wallpaper is transferred to the phone.
