The people that does these "stratch tests" have some type of insurance on these phones?
Or they have money to waste getting a new device? Maybe they don't care walking around with a beat up device?

Well, It's the aluminum back side that everyone is complaining about dents and scratches. in fact, below is a video of the iphone 5's backside being easily scratched by a 2 year old. The video was posted by ifixit.
