Basically the topic boils my question down to its core.

I understand we all used a bootrom exploit with the A4 devices to be able to restore to any version we chose.
I also understand the exploit had been patched with the A5 devices.
I also understand ios6 was released into the wild today (9/19), so that means there is maybe 2-3 days before Apple quits signing 5.1.1.

Is there currently any way to wipe+restore 5.1.1 on an A5 device after the window closes, or are we SOL and forced into ios6?

Nope. Once the window closes, TinyUmbrella wouldn't have any effect on the downgrading aspect because when you're downgrading with TinyUmbrella with SHSH blobs, you'll still need to restore the device using an earlier iOS (iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1) meaning you'll still need Apple to sign it, and if the window closes, *fart noise* no more downgrades.

Yes, as long as you have your SHSH saved you can restore to 5.1.1, as long as you are already on 5.1.1, by stitching your SHSH using the latest Redsn0w. If you update to iOS6, you will not be able to go back however.
