Restore loop

I have tried restoring my iphone through redsnow. It does not work, what else could i do?

Restore loop refers to your phone automatically restoring itself in loops..... which I don't is even possible.

Plug your device into your PC and DFU it, then restore.

What version of iOS are you trying to install? It will make a difference...

marilyn, i see you jailbroke your ipad with absinthe. is it the same process as iphone?

Yes, it was. Just plugged it in, clicked the button and off I went. However, your post reminded me - I haven't updated my signature! So, now it properly reflects the status of my iDevices.

But, Absinthe was just as easy to use on the iPad3 (on iOS 5.1.) as on the phone (as is evasi0n for both, also).
