Re-Calculating?

3 times, (that I know of) in the the past 12 hours or so, a female voice on my iP4 has said "Re-Caculating" then about a second later it says "Completed". What is this all about?

Your GPS is running in the background. If your not using it turn it off. She is telling you, your not going the way she thinks you should.
