Questions regarding un jailbreaking

Still new to this jailbreaking stuff. Im on an iPhone 4 on 5.1 jailbroken with redsnow. If I was to restore my iPhone with iTunes does the phone basically go back to normal mode without anys signs of the jailbreak?
