Previous 4.2.6 JB, Now TROUBLE

New to the iPhone, new to JB in general, and not really up on all the terms and stuff associated with this.
I previously used Greenpoison 6.1 and the phone kind of did everything necessary by itself to unlock. Unfortunately, in a moment of delirium I accidentally upgraded to 4.2.7, and of course kablam!- no more JB. So now I am looking for a way to get my phone back to being unlocked, untethered. I downloaded Tinyumbrella, and it shows one SHSH saved for my phone, a version for 4.2.6 , but I have no idea what that means, what I can do with it, and what I should do to get the phone unlocked again. Any help would be appreciated, but please remember I have NO idea what all the technical terms mean, etc, so it has to be spoon fed to me...

I should also mention that I use a Mac to connect the phone to.

Download ipsw 4.2.6 from internet and save it to your desktop.
After you connect your phone to your computer, run tinyUmbrella and see where it says "restore to previous version" follow the tinyUmbrella onscreen instructions to restore your 4.2.6 ipsw into your phone. Depending on your baseband, you will either have to use redsnow or pwnage tool to jailbreak your phone using the same ipsw 4.2.6 you download from Internet.
Go to cydia store after jailbreaking to find ultrasnow and unlock your phone.

I don't see anything that says restore to previous version in TinyUmbrella. I just get a warning that the TSS server is not running. Not sure what to do...

If this log is correct then according to the log, to the time, you were trying to save 4.2.6 shsh yesterday around 22h41mn???
The later it says that you were trying to save shsh for 4.2.8??? Ok I think this log is not reliable and you didn't save well your 4.2.6 shsh otherwise tinyUmbrella would have display your shsh it the window and give you the option to easily downgrade.

So if that is the case, which I can certainly believe, what do I do now?
And, I am still getting the error message that TinyUmbrella's TSS server is not running. Not sure what that means.

You download the latest version of Snowbreeze, and use that to jailbreak 4.2.8; that's really the only way if your SHSH blobs aren't backed up for easy downgrade.

Remember to make a full backup first, as the Snowbreeze method requires a full restore of the phone. And do read up on it first, it's a bit more complicated than the Greenp0ison method.
