Pop email send issues ?

Set up my pop email account and everything is working except for outgoing email. Receives email just fine, but I get a message that sender address was rejected by the server. Then it places the email in the outbox. This same account worked both on incoming and outgoing on my original droid. I tested it when this came up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I too had the same problem. what ever your outgoing smtp host is, does not want to use your phone to send. It is a problem with their server. When I was connected to wifi at work, (where I copied all the info from outlook) it would work. That is because it went through my ISP's service. When I went back to 3g, it was rejected. I then plugged in "mail."domain name".com and plugged in my password again, and it worked. You may have to check with the person that hosts your domain name and ask them what your outgoing and or Mail server name is if you were to connect directly through the internet,
