I need help with conversion. Here is what I did:
1. Synced 3GS with iTunes (phone name was "vic's iPhone")
2. Activated iPhone 4
3. During activation it asked me to create phone name. By mistake I typed "Victor's iPhone" instead of "vic's iPhone"
4. Attempted to sync with iTunes.
5. iTunes stated that it will replace 4 with another phone's backup.
As a result, everything is wrong on my iPhone 4. My iPhone 3GS data did NOT transfer to iPhone 4.
How do I create iPhone 4 with the same name as my 3GS was so it will sync with "vic's iPhone" instead of "Victor's iPhone"? How do I change the name of my iPhone 4 in iTunes? I am very bad with iTunes so I try not to use it. I only used iTunes when I initially setup iPhone, transfered from iPhone to iPhone 3GS (was very painful with inadequate 2 days support) and now (everything is wrong). What do I do? I am at the point of returning iPhone 4. Please help.
