Okay, so i have this problem:

The power button from my iPhone 3G is defect, and it's also not booting up, when i plug the iphone into my pc nothing pops up.

Does anyone know's how mutch it will costs to repair my power button, and also, do i need to buy another battery, or can i solve my boot up problem by only buying the power button?

I'm not certain but I think you could purchase a 4G for less money then it would take to try and repair your current iPhone.

The iPhone 4 is currently free on a 2 year contract if memory serves. So hookbill has presented a pretty good option.

You can buy one off ebay prices ranging from $1 from china to $5 from the usa. use ifixit.com for any iPhone repair guides.
