Photos won't sync

I have assigned a folder on my computer to sync photos with my iphone, I would like to move some photos from my computer to my phone. Why I try to sync it the photos that I want to transfer dont show up on my phone... Any suggestions?

Just to recap...You created a folder on desktop....placed photo you want syncing in folder.....used iTunes to select folder and sync with iPhone...Yes

Are the images you want to sync in the correct format...?
on Mac - JPG, JPEG, TIFF, PICT, GIF, PNG, JPG2000 or JP2, PSD, SGI, BMP
On Win - JPG , JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIF, TIFF, SGI, PNG.
