AppleInsider reports that yet more supposed images of iPhone 7 parts in the wild have leaked online. This time it’s CNC machining plates that are used for the finishing process for the iPhone 7 that have been captured in the latest images to emerge.
The images, which were originally posted by Chinese website Baidu and obtained from a Chinese Apple supplier, show both a 4.7-inch iPhone tool and a larger, 5.5-inch iPhone tool.
As has been seen in other leaked images recently, the smaller phone tool has a noticeably larger opening for the upgraded iSight camera module.
Another opening on the bigger tool would appear to be for a dual-camera array, again tying in with recent rumours.
Interestingly, there is no sign of a space for the Smart Connector on either of the phones, but that could possibly be because the plates were for an earlier stage of production.
