My iPhone 4 ring but I cannot hear the caller when I answer.
They can hear me well.
What is the solution?

Does this happen every phone call? You're not using headphones or anything?

If it is happening every call I'd restore, and if that doesn't work take it to an Apple shop to be looked at. I'm not aware of a Mute button on the phone. Please correct me if I am wrong.
