Has anyone figured out how to send an email from AOL on the iphone5 . I tried everything and nothing works.
Of course Apple says it's AOL's problem but in the Apple store I could not even receive emails from AOL.
Receiving worked fine when I left their store.

Delete the AOL email account. Reboot your device. Re-input the AOL credentials again.

I found this info on the apple support forum

On your iPhone:
-Select Settings
-Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars
-Select your AOL.com account
-Select SMTP from the Account Info Page (outgoing server)
-Select SMTP from the SMPT Page
-From the smtp.aol.com page
-Check that the Server is ON
-Check that the Host Name is smtp.aol.com
-Check that your User Name is correct
-Check that you Password is correct

When you type in your user name, do not enter @aol.com on the end.
