Keeep or copy old APP version

hi,

Long time ago I have been using an older version of an app , because the newer updates are worst (less and worst capabilities)

Anyway, I need to update the IOS software version on my phone, but the last time I did it, at the same the app version were updated, even when auto apps update were disabled.

what can i do to avoid this ? any suggestion ?

any way to store and reinstall the same app version, after IOS update, if happen again ?

That app would have updated because the existing app would not work with the updated iOS version.
If the app is still available in the App Store check what the minimum iOS version for the app is.
There is no legal way to copy an app and add it to your device outside the App Store.
Versions of iTunes older than iTunes 12.7 included the App Store and kept local copies of all purchased apps in iTunes on your computer, which could be installed on your device when synced with iTunes.
