itunes/iphone problem...?

Hi, so this is my first post, hope its in the right place.
I recently had some trouble with my computer and i took it to get fixed and it kinda got restored and i had to re-install itunes. i kept most of my music on an external hard drive but now when i plug my iphone in and i sync it asks if i want to erase and sync...? i'm not worried about losing the music, but will it delete all my apps, contacts, pic etc..?!?! someone please help..

Why did you have to reinstall iTunes?

You can only sync with one iTunes libary at a time. So now that you've reinstalled it I'm guessing that it thinks it's a different library. Can you right click on your phone and choose restore form a backup...?
