Is it possible to download firmware on another computer?

I have the iPhone 4 and have yet to download iOS for it yet. Can I do this on another persons computer? I don't have a working one. If so what do I need to do?

you can do it from any computer, just make sure you stop the iphone from syncing..

or if you want you can download the firmware using a link and then transfer it to your computer..
