What is the actual viewable area size of iPhone X with the rounded corners screen?
It depends on what you’re doing. The home screen is everything but the notch at the top of the screen. Photos and videos take up less than the full screen.
And you can, should you choose to, expand video edge to edge
If you don't mind cutting off parts of the picture.
It's funny. Everyone talks about the zoom and how it cuts off parts of the video like it's only an apple thing.
Pixel XL not zoomed (Look Familiar?):
Pixel XL Zoomed:
Same boarders on the XL, but you also have the large top and bottom bezel to add to the side boarders. Zooming in gets rid of the side boarders, but you still have bezels.
Apple write in there human interfaces that the actual viewable area is less with rounded corners
Apple iPhone X's 5.8-inch screen is actually smaller than the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus display
