Iphone hangin up

My iphone 4 gets stuck at times wen iam in a app..... And wen i press the return button it does not return to menu page. What shud i do ? I looked out for a task manager in app store..but couldn't find one.

If u double click the home button it takes u to the task manager. Just long press one of the apps then click the minus button that appears. U might have too many apps running

It might be a bug with the app you're using. Or, the instance of it has been on for too long. Double-tap the home button like iGeTuRiT said, tap and hold on any app in the lower bar until it jiggles and click the minus button. Press the home button to stop it from jiggling. If you're on a jailbroken iPhone, you can use SBSettings
