iPhone 5 Rumoured to Have an LED Indicator on the Front

[FONT=&quot]According to a post on the iPhone Download Blog, rumours have surfaced that the iPhone 5 will have an LED indicator on the front, just as the BlackBerry currently has. According to the post, the LED is designed to flash to silently alert you when you get a call, or a text, which would be especially useful for those times when even a vibration alert would be too much of an intrusion, such as during a business meeting. The iPhone Download Blog is at pains to point out that this new information comes from an anonymous source, and not one of their regular sources either, although they did check the informant’s IP address and found it to be close to Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, for what that’s worth![/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Last week DigiTimes reported information gleaned from one of its sources that the next iPhone will have a “dual-LED flash”, so could it be possible that one of these LEDs will be on the front of the iPhone and not the back?[/FONT]
