This video is a comparison of the startup times of the iPhone 4S VS. the iPod Touch 4th Generation. The iPhone 4S packs the new A5 processor which is dual core and should give it a huge boost while the iPod Touch has the old single-core A4 processor. During the race the iPod Touch starts up a bit quicker, but nothing to fuss about, with a whopping 26 seconds while the iPhone 4S comes in at 26.7 seconds.
