iPhone 4 Tethering Password

When I tether my iPhone and click on it for an internet connection, it never prompts me for my password, though I have one and it says it is security enabled.

Suggestions?

Usually the receiving device will remember the wireless settings. Maybe this has happened to you. Try a unknown device

Thanks iCrank. You are absolutely correct. I was afraid that since it didn't ask me for a password when connecting my laptop, it wouldn't ask anyone else either. But, it does. I tried two other devices and in both cases it asked for a password. Apparently it's smart enough to recognize my own device, remembers the password, and doesn't ask again.
