Hello folks!

I apologise for this being my first post and all, but i cant think where else to turn.

Ive got an iphone 4 32gb. A while back i was changing the screen. I'd already changed it once, then i dropped it so it required changing again. Not a problem as such, but when i was dismantling it, i accidentally dropped the screwdriver. It landed between two battery terminals, i saw a spark and the iphone turned off.

After that, it was entirely dead. No vibrate, backlight, nothing, a brick essentially.

Tried both screens, all the rest, but nothing.

What i'd like to ask is, can it be repaired? a 32gb motherboard to buy is worth more than half what the phone is in some respects, and its a shame to waste it because it owes me a lot of money in parts. Its also factory unlocked, which cost a fair bit so i'd like to get it sorted.

Thanks for your time and i look forward to hearing your thoughts on the matter,

Regards

SSR.

My logic was, a lot of people have probably repaired worse water damaged boards, so maybe this is rescuable?
