iphone 4 help

hi all i just received an iPhone 4 from a friend recently it shut off and it shows the apple logo only when plugged in the computer i have surfed the net to see what the problem is when i restored it with iTunes it shows error 1602 so i tried the stuff they said to try to fix it but nothing worked even the jailbreaks any suggestions sorry all still a newbie with all this and its an iPhone 4 gms thanx everybody

160X issues are because of driver issues. Try them in the following order. If you want it quick and easy, just jump to number 3.

1) Remove your USB driver from device manager, and reboot your computer.

2) If 1 doesn't work, remove both your USB driver and iTunes from your computer. Reboot. Reinstall iTunes.

3) Create another admin account on your PC, install iTunes there, and retry.

4) Use another computer.
