iPhone 3G screen strip broken

On my iPhone 3G that number 3 strip, I broke it I believe its the output strip that provides all the information and shows the whole UI
What would be the best way to replace it this component?

Yea if you broke that then you need to replace the digitizer because thats for the LCD display. Just have to watch that when your taking apart phone there is a lever that you need to push up to get ribbon freed.
