so, i just tried to run absinthe on my phone to jb it, but it wont detect the phone now that i updated to ios 6. is their no jail break available for it yet?

Incorrect. It depends on what iPhone model you have. If you're on a 4S or 5... then there's no JB for iOS 6. If you're on a 3GS or 4... you have a Tethered JB using redsnow v. 0.9.15b3. If your 3GS has the Old Bootrom... your JB will be Untethered using redsnow v.0.9.15b3.
