I'm new and need help with an common question

I have just recently got a iphone 4 and my friend and I tried to jailbreak it the other night but no luck and tried to downgrade to 4.0.1 but again no luck.

However I have read that the jailbreak 4.1 is coming soon-ish.

Does anyone know a rough date of when that may be?

And does anyone have a link to the dev team's blog, just so I can keep up-to-date with when its ready.

And how do you know when its available, do you just keep checking their webistes?

Got a iphone4 with vodafone and want to unlock it for O2 use, and of course all the other cool stuff that jailbreak has,lol

You won't be able to downgrade as I'm sure you figured out. Here is the official thread with all the links. It will be updated as soon as it's released.

Yeah after a couple of hours of swearing found out couldn't downgrade no matter what we did!!! But great thanks for the link. Appreciate it, just gota sit and wait I guess!!!
