I have recently got an iphone 4 for christmas. However, it has recently started to slow down. It also is annoying, when trying to phone anyone, and the screen goes dark in the middle. Does anyone know if this happens to other iphone's or is it just mine.
Please can someone help me to sort this problem.

Welcome! Sorry you are having issues. Did your issues begin soon after installing an app? If so, remove it and see if that corrects the issue.

Welcome! That's not normal. You should try Bringing it back and getting it replaced.

tang.... have you tried double-tapping on the Home button and seeing what apps are currently running? If you have many unused apps running in the background it may cause your symptoms. Write back....
