If you were getting an iPad on a budget what would you get?

I have no idea the gen of my iPad. I used to keep up with that stuff during the cell subsidy days. I think it was before my youngest was born in 2014. Oof and she’s 11. So I have been stealing my teenage sons, he’s PC and iPhone but I hate to take it out of the country for a week. I use it leading worship for words and my phone for the music. I’m looking on Amazon and I don’t wanna get something that will be old quickly but I don’t need the latest and greatest. I may only use it for this unless I decide to use it instead of my phone around the house. Thanks!
