No one knows. They'll tell you a timeline and that's worst than knowing the official date. Pray for the fall

Apple said it would come in the fall, so that puts the release date from Sep 21 to Dec 20. Ugh lol!

It's driving me crazy. It would really be nice if they apple said dec. 22 or sep. 29th. But to give a date between sept and dec. Should of just announced it close to the actual date.

That's apple for ya. It's worse this year since the new OS usually releases in June or July. It's just making everybody twitch with anticipation (which I think thats what apple wants!)

If u wanna jailbreak ur 4.2.10 ur gonna need to downgrade to 4.2.8. Then u can do the untethered jailbreak.

I have no idea what an SHSH BACKUP IZ

SHSH are keys which Apple use to sign and verify firmware version via iTunes and then conclude if yes or not to upgrade your ios. Apple sign every firmware you install in your phone It goes this way.
First of all Apple is against the downgrading so after or almost at the end of your firmware installation, apple send a key into the phone and also keeps a copy of that key in it server.
Let's say that the shsh key for your iPhone running iOS 4.3.3 is AIP4-433-433+ Now the next time there will be an upgrade for the firmware let's say iOS 4.3.4 at the end of the installation, iTunes will communicate with Apple's server to make sure that the upgrade rule is respected by analyzing your most recent SHSH key which is AIP4-433-433+ to the new iOS you've install which is iOS 4.3.4. The rule will be correct and installation will finish successfully if and only if you SHSH key information reveal that your newly install iOS is higher or equal to the most recent available iOS in the server. If your SHSH key happen to give other results like let's say SHSH key information reveal that the firmware you are installing in the iPhone is different to equal or inferior to the most recent available iOS in the server then iTunes will conclude that the rule is wrong and then quit the installation resulting of you having the iPhone in recovery mode.

Ya reading isnt my thing so i hav no idea wat u just wrote

You don't like reading? Then forget about SHSH because you will never know what it is. It might be 1line or 5lines or 100lines, you will have to read if you want to know unless you listen to tinyUmbrella news radio.
