I'm on the Verizon iPhone, and Windows XP and the jailbreak went flawlessly last night. Just an FYI for all you out there.

All apps and tweaks are working as they should be with no bugs so far! I'll update if anything changes.

Are there any downgrades to Jailbreaking the verizon iphone on 4.2.6? I just got my iphone so i'm not really sure how it works..i read somewhere people holding off due to the baseband?

Yo how do I upgrade my jailbreak do I just have to jailbreak it all over again?

Greenpoisi0n will work on 4.2.6...

Just run the updated greenpoisi0n. No need to restore...

How do I do that? do I have to go through the whole holding buttons thing or just run the same program that I have?

Didn't work for me, ibooks still won't open. Says there is a problem with my iphones configuration and to restore in itunes then reload ibooks.

Download the latest version, run the programme and follow the instructions...

Make sure you have the updated version of greenpoisi0n. Running the same programme again will just jailbreak your phone with the outdated version...

I downloaded the latest version Greenpois0n only to find it didn't work for me and reverted back to r5_b3 which works well , I have done plenty of jailbreaks on my clean iPhone 4 4.2.1. I find that with the latest version, it kept giving me failed sign in the Greenpois0n's click button even though the phone was in DFU modes but with the older version, no such issue. One curious factor is for some unknown reason the system plays up, whilst preforming the jailbreak with the lastest version , rebooting the OS solves that problem.
OS Mac OSX 10.6.6
Iphone 4 4.2.1
Baseband 3.10.01

I did use RC6.1 and it made no difference, still got the "configuration" message So I deleted ibooks. Haven't tried to reload it yet.

Just reloaded ibooks and it still won't open a book. I re-JB'ed with RC6.1, did not restore prior, read you didn't have to. Is this the message everyone was getting or is my problem something different? "There is a problem with your iphones configuration. Restore in itunes and reload ibooks"

Well, I tried the hunnypot.deb file from at least 5 different sources and none of them would install without errors. I guess this method is not going to work either. I tried ssh to iphone and direct download through Safari and got error code 256.
