Games for the iPod touch 2nd Gen

Hi! My GF has an iPod touch 3rd Gen 8GB. Sadly, since it is only 8GB, it is pretty much the same as considering it as a 2nd Gen device since it cannot update further than 4.1.7

I was just wondering, are there other games out there that you can recommend for her that still works for that device? She is adamant about not changing the device. It holds “sentimental” value for her. Despite that fact, she wants to be able to play some games as well.

Not sure where 4.1.7 is coming from... the 2nd Gen iPod Touch will go to 4.2.1 and the 3rd Gen will go up to 5.1.1, the current iOS version.

Either way... not sure how many members we'll have here that can tell you specifically which games are compatible w/ a specific iOS version. Honestly, your best bet is to hit up Google and search for games compatible w/ iOS XXX

I asked her about that. Sorry, she meant 4.2.1
I don't know where she got that either. Thank you for correcting me.

my lil bro's using itouch 2nd gen... he often complains abt limited downloadable apps.. true because he can no longer update his itouch even for just 4.3 version.... yet, he's still able to get good apps... Thomasjtsi is right... just browse over google and check the game req's on itunes... or better, do the research on itunes.
