Finally - Success e mail reservation from Uk Apple Store !

After 14 attempts at reserving an iphone 5, 16gb Black/Slate sim free model, i received an e mail from Apple confirming the reservation last night, leaving me to pick it up later on today.

To those still waiting i trust your time will come along soon.

Me too.

Picked mine up at 9:00.

My success happened when I switched the requesting colours from black to white, I posted all about it on the sticky thread where we talk about new phones as well as showing a nice pic!

I was really surprised, I managed to see the list from the store where I got mine - there was only 13 that had come in. I also saw the times for pick ups, its like they were doing 2 people per hour. Still much better to do it this way then and have the store allow you to check it before purchase. Mind you, if it was damaged, I am not sure what they would have done as the ones that were reserved were already for others.

Still all in all, a very good day!

I picked up my iphone 5 from the Meadowhall store today between 5pm and 6pm as ive been working, and boy was that store super busy.
