Dumb Question

Recently had some problems with my desktop and had to have it "cleaned", etc. Before this when I plugged my IPhone into the PC it would bring up ITunes and sync, etc. Now all I get is an Autoplay screen and I have to manually start ITunes. In the scheme of things this is trivial but annoying. Is there an easy fix for this?

In iTunes there is an option to select to have iTunes started when a device is detected.

Went into ITunes and that box is checked. Don't think they would have messed with that. I have read some things both good and bad about ITuneshelper.exe. Do I need that? It's not on my PC but then don't know that it was there before.

Try in checking the box then click apply or save. Then recheck the box and click apply or save again. It is worth starting there.

Tried those things with no luck. Finally located and ran ITuneshelper.exe and that solved the problem. The folks who cleaned up my PC had apparently taken that out of the startup programs. Thank you for the replies.
