I've been a Verizon customer for several years and own a landline. With these, I have had excellent call quality. I received my iPhone recently and am quite dissatisfied with the call quality. When I am talking someone else with Verizon iPhone in an ideal talking environment (inside, no other voices), it's about 80% as good as previous phones. In all other situations, including listening to my own voicemail, it sounds quite tinny! It's like I am making a call over Skype. Is this just an Apple construction thing - i.e., Apple investing in everything else but the earpiece/microphone? Heard things about noise canceling technology making it sound tinny.
