disable keyboard clicks not working

so i have a jailbroken phone with octopus

the only way i can see to turn off the keyboard sounds is by pushing the red/silent button on the side of my phone

am i missing something?

You can go to the Sounds tab in your Settings app. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see two options: Lock Sounds and Keyboard Clicks. If you turn Keyboard Clicks to OFF, you won't hear the clicks any longer. No need for the Mute button.

Sorry, then, I've got nothing as it works on mine. Have you tried a restart or reset after turning it off? can't say that it would work, but...

Hopefully, someone else will have an idea what is going on.
