Custom ringtones not showing up!!

I've just jailbroken my 5 on iOS7 and dropped a few new ringtones into the ringtone folder. I can see it there if I use iFile or iFunbox, but I cannot see it in the phone's sounds section under settings!!

I managed to sort this out. Why do people say just drop the new ringtones in the ringtone folder and it will work when it clearly doesn't.

Ringtones are sandboxed differently, much like your music. If you go through your system files, your music files are renamed and stored fairly deep in your system files. Unless you update the meta plists as well, you can't simply drag and drop them into a directory.
